The Story
The couple asked for a relaxed table and flowers that looked picked that morning. We gathered long tables under the trees and kept the florals loose.
Planning the Day
Bunga and Teguh wanted their wedding to feel unplanned, which of course took careful planning. We chose Villa Batu Hijau for its old trees and built the layout around the shade they cast through the afternoon.
Flowers were sourced from growers around Batu the day before, and we asked for whatever was in season rather than a fixed list. The result was loose, colourful, and a little wild, exactly as the couple hoped.
On the Day
The ceremony took place in the late afternoon under the largest tree in the garden. Guests sat on mismatched chairs gathered from the villa and nearby houses, and the vows were followed by a toast with fresh apple juice from a local orchard.
Dinner was served at long tables under strings of warm lights. A photo booth in the corner became the evening's favourite spot, and the night ended with everyone dancing on the lawn as the wildflowers closed up for the evening.
