The Story
Rina and Satria wanted fewer guests and more sea. We timed the ceremony to the last light and kept every element light enough to move with the wind.
Planning the Day
Rina and Satria kept the guest list close to a hundred and twenty and spent their budget on the setting. We scouted three stretches of Seminyak beach before choosing one with a gentle slope and no evening foot traffic.
Wind is the main design constraint on a beach, so every element was chosen to move rather than fight it: fabric runners, loose florals in sand-weighted vessels, and lanterns instead of open candles.
On the Day
Guests arrived barefoot to a welcome drink and a basket of sandals for later. The ceremony faced the sunset, and the drone captured the moment the couple turned to walk back up the beach as the sky changed colour.
Dinner was served on long low tables set into the sand, followed by a short acoustic set and dancing on a timber deck we built near the dunes.
