The Story
Laras and Yoga flew eighty guests to Labuan Bajo for three days. Our team travelled a week ahead to prepare the venue, vendors, and arrivals.
The ceremony faced the sea at sunset, with a simple arch and linen runners that moved with the breeze.
Planning the Day
A destination wedding is mostly logistics. We built a travel sheet for all eighty guests covering flights, boat transfers, room allocations, and dietary needs, and shared it with the resort and every vendor two months ahead.
Our team arrived in Labuan Bajo a week early to brief local suppliers, test the sound system against the sea breeze, and walk the beach at sunset each evening to confirm the ceremony timing.
On the Day
The wedding day began with a slow breakfast for guests while the bridal party got ready with makeup artists flown in from Jakarta. By late afternoon the beach was set with linen runners and a simple timber arch facing the water.
The vows were timed to the last light over Padar. Dinner followed on the sand by candlelight, and the evening closed with a small fire show that the resort staff helped us arrange.
